White Mercedes is vet extraordinaire Steve Allday, or the "Magic Man" as he is referred to in some circles. He is the vet for a lot of high profile outfits whose stock share a few telling characteristics including big jump-ups, less volatile form cycles (i.e. horses that don't bounce) the ability to "re-break" when asked in the last 1/8 mile, etc.
