The top fractions are from Grade I older animals. The bottom fractions maturing 3 year olds. Granted theres pace issues with the different distances. Going into the race, Going Wild's chances of pulling the upset seemed iffy at best. He had to overcome Spanish Chestnut and then hold off DeClans. It got even worse for him, because he broke poorly, ran half rank into the first turn and was behind the other two until he found a seam to push his nose in. He wore down Chestnut, but DeClan's ran the professional race he's always run and took his measure late. Even then it wasn't easy and if that race goes another mark, I wouldn't want to be holding odds on tickets on the winner.
That race was a pass. He'll get him next time.
