I cannot believe that no one has written about the war going on out here between the factions that are taking this sport down with them as they point to each other to assess blame. Reminds me of the old days in Florida.

In any event, between the racing press corps failing to do a credible job of assessment and/or investigation of Sweet Catomine's status(from the same "almighty" connections that were afforded a week before their milkshake positive was even announced)as pointed out by the owner; the press corps being outraged this morning that the owner didn't tell them about the true situation of the horse; and the non-racing writers having to tell the whole story - including the fact that both NBC and Magna's head of So Cal tracks (owner Ron Charles) were informed of the filly's problems and possibly not running - but told only in "confidentiality"...it seems that we bettors are idiots for participating in a sport that has become more famous for the information it witholds from the public that what it makes available.
