NoCar-- first of all, I'm not an expert in multiple race bets (there are those who are). But my general feeling is that you still better be able to articulate why you are betting pick 3s or 4s, or you shouldn't be tying the results of one good bet to another. For me, that means I better be tossing favorites, but not focusing on one horse against them-- if I am, I should be betting to win.
