You go to 5-1 by putting 3000 on USS Tinosa at +100. Then put 2000 on Booklet +140. Booklet wins you win 2800 but lose 3000 hence you lose $200. But if USS Tinosa wins you win 3000 and lose 2000 on the Booklet bet. Hence possibly losing 200 to win 1000. As a general gambling strategy this is also used in Baseball. I also see odds to win offered right now at offshores. One thing I have never been able to do is predict where the odds will end up on horses. Right now the following odds to win are offered at one offshore I like 3 of these in Proud Citizen, USS Tinosa and Table Limit.

Medaglia D Oro 2 to 1
War Emblem 3 to 1
Proud Citizen 10 to 1
Harlans Holiday 6 to 1
Equality 14 to 1
Booklet 18 to 1
Crimson Hero 15 to 1
Easyfromthegitgo 15 to 1
USS Tinosa 12 to 1
Magic Weisner 35 to 1
Straight Gin 35 to 1
Menacing Dennis 50 to 1
Table Limit 50 to 1
