I can't remember who posted the link to the replay here, but I had to download Quicktime to view it. I forgot what a marvelous race this was. There were some ding dong horses in that field.

Silver Charm game and wide on the turn grinding down Coronado's Quest and going wide himself to open the hole inside. Swain's gallant run angling out and forgetting to stop the angling. Victory Gallop and Awesome Again running as a tandem between the hole opened by Silver's bear out with Awesome having just a bit more momentum. What a marvelous race it was. It don't get any better than that.

Man I just watched it again and its hard to get inside a horses head, but i swear Silver puts Coronados Quest away and then bears out to engage Swain. I think he wanted to fight him.

And another view...Victory Gallop looks to get the worst of the timing on the hole opening up and is definitely on the wrong lead late with the Jock trying to keep him clear of Quest. Yeah...he's got momentum on Awesome Again but shifts to the wrong lead and loses it...the traffic up front spooked him i guess.....what a race.
