Both the DRF & The Morning Telegraph were published by Triangle Publications. Their actual names were the New York Morning Telegraph & the Chicago Daily Racing Form. The Telly covered the east coast & the Form the midwest & west coast. The Telly was a broadsheet, the Form a tabloid.
They used the same database, the same employees, the same everything. At one time Triangle Publications was owned by Walter Annenberg who also owned the Phila. Inquirer & TV Guide.
