There are only a few things worse than keying a 71-1 shot in the tri & missing 3rd by the shortest of noses because of what should go down as one of the worst rides in the history of racing. One is facing the same horse at long odds with the same rider in a spot where she might figure again. I heard through the grapvine that I wasn't the only one who keyed Water Gap on 4/16. What do you think of her chances today?
P.S. Since I'm asking questions, has anybody heard of Sara Hamilton, the breeder, owner & trainer of Stable Talk in the 7th?
Also, it's just one man's opinion obviously, but the way this track has played throughout the meet, I would proceed very cautiously on FA in the Ben Ali Jimbo. His ability to finish at 9f appears very suspect.
