Love this card today. So many really deep fields.

1st race: I cannot believe Northern Stag is the 2nd coming of Ghostzapper. I swear I thought i was seeing things when i started handicapping this race. He must have loved the mud and as long as it is not muddy, i see a big regression coming. I like Natural Spring to get the day rolling for Asmussen.

5th race: Lion Tamer. 4-for-8 at 7F. He has had poor starts in his last two. He is 5-1 on the morning line and i see a bounceback after the last poor effort. Sir Shackleton bounces back also to complete the exacta

8th race: I do not know if Madcap can be beaten but i think there is a bomb that has competitive figures and if he moves forward will be right there. I like Josh's Madelyn. This filly ran two big numbers in the fall in Kentucky. She came off a lay off to run a nice # but nowhere near Madcap. Getting nearly 10lbs from Madcap gives her a big chance. The downside that i see is that two of her 3 big #'s have come in the mud but at 20-1 i can look past this.

Good luck to all!!

john
