The rabbits didn't beat Bellamania, what beat him was inability to rate/bounce. A superstar, a champion, has to be able to demostrate greatness in adversity. If Bellamania is a front end only horse, he has to be sent for the lead like a Dr. Fager. If he needs it all his own way, rabbits deserve to beat him.
The only horse to fair better late than he, after being near the pace was Closing Argument.
Bellamanias training gallops were signaling he was still headstrong. He doesnt look like a fluid mover either and big stride or not thats not ideal under pressure.
