Did anyone see the story about the guy at Turf Paradise who hit the superfecta on a quick pick but lost the ticket? Apparently, the track collected trash bags and let him go through them to find the ticket. Eventually it was found next to a teller's machine or something like that.

What a bunch of crap, I've lost tickets before (in my much younger days) and no one ever gave a damn about me.

Maybe Im just mad that this guy put in no work and walked away with 800,000. Either way it was a profitable Derby week for me (thanks especially go out to My Trusty Cat). The Preakness ought to be exciting, and one hell of a betting race.

Did anyone see what the Beyer Figure was for the Derby; can't be that high seeing that he does not figure in ground loss.
