Used my own homemade pace analysis in addition to TG to come up with my Derby picks. I use 23/3, 23/3 25/3, 26, 13 for 9f. All the FLA horses, Bandini,HL were throwouts because they were either -,or low for the final 2 fractions -- indicating to me that they might not get 10F for their TG number, I threw out GG because of his rapid development and poor training reports. The positive races were the Wood, Ark. Derby, and the SA Derby. My feeling was the Cal horses were better than they looked and should not be judged on GW and Consolidator trips east. I made a nice score in the 9th race, and was alive with AA in the doubles with BR, AA, Wilko, BB, Don't Get Mad (CD form). I used Giacomo and a bunch of other horses over my DD picks, unfortunately AA couldn't get 2nd.
