Reminds me of when one of my horses (a former 2yo Grade 1 placed colt)which I was part owner of, was listed by NYRA Saratoga program, DRF, et al, as a colt.

About 10 minutes to post last July, Durkin announces my colt is now a gelding.!!!!!

How about the management company never told the owners that they gelded him 30 days prior.

So don't think only betters get screwed with no information! Needless to say, a lot of owners parted ways with that company.
