On the Clown's Invincibility and This Year's 3 year old crop (719 Views)

Clown,

Only you on this board could post that you like four different horses, one of which was the favorite, then declare yourself invincible when the chalk wins. The non-horse racing portion of your life must be really wanting....

On this year's 3 year old crop,

What is the postscript of these two races? After the Derby, we heard from JB and others about the drug issue. Crazy beaten lengths figures in the Derby is not terribly uncommon. But some of this sport's best trainers got beat again by 25 to 40 lengths in the Preakness. What happened to real horse races, like when Free House and Captain Bodgett and Touch Gold fought Silver Charm gamely in the Triple Crown.

It can't be "drugs" again the Preakness. Tim Ritchey would be on a majority of the "lists" out there.

AA 3-5 on the early Belmont line.

Who will run against him?

I am sure Lukas was probably encouraged by Going Wild's performance, since he only lost by 42. So, he'll probably take another shot.
Andromeda is scheduled and so is Buzzard's Bay.

What else?

Too bad we won't see an in form Bellamy Road against an in form Afleet Alex. That would be a race worth watching.
