You could make the case that the tapes they used to sell had a production cost they needed to offset (the cost of the tapes). But the Derby and BC seminars we do are far more elaborate than what Len is talking about, and there is no significant cost other than labor. After the races have been run we post them for free, as we do with ROTW and its sheets every week. We keep them available here so that there is a free library people can use to learn how to use the product.

GD-- they are charging you, the customer, to learn how to use a product you will then be paying them for. It's one thing to do that for an upcoming event you will be betting on-- the opinions themselves (at least in theory) are worth something. This is something else entirely, and you have to wonder what they are thinking.
