Two more examples of why thoroughbred racing takes a back seat.

AFLEET ALEX dominates the Belmont Stakes. This is one of racing's stars and a crowd favorite. Yet the next day, the NY Daily News has Randy Johnson and the Yankees as their sports headlines.

The 2004 Horse of the Year is retired yesterday. The NY POST buries it inside of its sports section and chooses to have Joe Torre and the Yankees upcoming homestand as its sports cover story.

Who was on the front page???....Michael Jackson, who closely resembles a 16yo gray gelding.

Good Luck,
Joe B.
