what do you think he's going so say - we want horses that run here to break down?
every super has to say that their course has enough cusion to keep the horses safe. looking at many of the new turf courses put up over the last few years, i'm not sure there is any trend pointing towards slower courses. but hey, if you can trick your customers into thinking that the horses that ran 12f in 2:26 back in the '50's are thirty lengths slower than today's horses, more power to you.
