Friday's Second Race at Saratoga (681 Views)

My spot play for Friday is Indy Trouble. She had problems at the start of her grassy 6f debut. Yet, she was able to finish her last 1/4 in 23 3/5. Indy Trouble gets lasix for her second start, Castellano sticks and she stretches out to 1 1/16. As a daughter of A.P. Indy, the added distance should help. Her distaff pedigree is all class. Indy Trouble is out of SW Storm Alert. Her second dam is SW Speed Dialer ($384,656). The third dam, SP Battle Ceek Girl, produced 8 SP and SW including Wavering Girl ($314,084 Champion Can. 2yo filly); SW Tricky Creek ($873,288) SW Everhope ($310,234); SW Parade Leader ($170,937) and SW Parade Ground ($794,995). The next dam, Far Beyond, produced SW Wings of Grace who in turn produced SW Soaring Softly; SW Plenty of Grace and SW Bound By Honor. There are innumerable big time horses under the next dam (Soaring) including SW Mehmet; SW Glorious Song and SW Devil's Bag. There are many more to mention, but I'm a poor typist and have to leave the keyboard. Suffice it to say that Indy Trouble has a great turf/class pedigree.

Indy Trouble should be a square price. The obvious negatives are her outside post and Rusty Arnold's patience with young horses.

Does anyone have any views on this race. If so, please share your thoughts.
