Re: Friedman and Brown Belmont Picks -- Sneak Peek (1068 Views)

I started using Ragozin sheets in 1990, but only bet these races seriously starting in 1992. Frankly, if I had known then what I know now, I would have done better in 1992, which I consider to have been the betting opportunity of a lifetime. (BTW, I am curious whether you had Arazi's "impressive" BC Juvenile being as slow as Ragozin. That is what made him a clear throwout in the Derby.)

I know that your point was comparing track records for advance statements, but as I have said before, that to me is irrelevant. (Frankly if the two of you had not given your DRF picks in 1998, I almost certainly would have done better). I am interested in the quality and accuracy of the sheets and how they can benefit my handicapping.

By comparing your record against Friedman, you are not merely trying to assert that you are a better handicapper than Friedman, which you may be, but that your sheets are better. My point, is that there are plenty of Ragozin users who have done extremely well in Triple Crown and Breeder's Cup races regardless of what Friedman has done.
