That is probably the best way to determine the winner is for anyone who made a profit to post their plays here. I was actually keeping track, and didn't mind the work, but as it got later I realized that it was an excersize in futility, because we never agreed to hard and fast rules for certain scenarios... like
1. Would scratch money be merely refunded or would they be allowed to be placed on an alternate?
2. Would parlays be allowed?
3. Then there were those who wanted their wagers with certain "conditions"... like the horse is a minimum of 5-2, the wind is blowing from the southeast at between 9 and 17 MPH, and Mars and Uranus are in opposition when the gates opened.
If we have any contests in the future, i would be glad to track the wagers, but the rules and wagers allowed would need to be agreed on and settled before the wagers are posted, and what you bet is what you get regardless of the odds or conditions (the one condition that would be acceptable is a demand that the race be left on the turf). Also keeping all the contest selections in a single thread would make it easier too.
