Jerry, I have been having a lot of battles with idiots who keep telling me hwo much the best that Taste Of Paradise was in the sprint and I completely disagree with them. To me Taste saved every inch of ground and needed to get through a hole with no problems in order to win. I don't think that any horse who needs to save every inch of ground and hit a hole with no problems in order to win is "much the best". My argument is that Prado elected to go wide in order to have momentum and a clear run at the expense of lengths(how many?). MY argument is basically as simple as this. If prado elects to stay on the rail then he would have been able to slip through in the stretch and had clear sailing as obviously "he" wouldn't have been on the outside of LITF to "trap himself". I figure that he slips through and has 3 lengths on taste of paradise who still doesn't run him down and that he wins even easier this way. How far apart were they on the final numbers in terms of lengths after you built in the ground lost on Silver Train? I'm not asking you for the figures on each, just how many points the best was Silver Train and do you feel that the ground lost was as penalizing to ST as the steadying was to Taste of Paradise? Thanks
