Nice Plays Today (755 Views)

Looks like some nice action today. I'm looking at Calder and, of course, Santa Anita (hope the rain doesn't wash things away)

Here are a few thoughts:

Calder:
Race 6
5)Windigo: Looks very solid to me, on top with 6)Quiet Retaliation underneath.

Race Nine
10-More Than Promised is truly an amazing filly, what a turn of foot she has! I'll probably use 1)Pommes Frites underneath for exacta/supers.

Race Ten
1a-Kuanyan: To me, physically, she seems a cut above these girls, there's so much speed in the race though I can't blame you if you like 8)Liliah. I'm not sold on her chances though.

Race Twelve
7-Preach It: I really liked her last race, I think she might have more to offer.

Santa Anita
Race 1
3)Dealer Choice: He's a racehorse -- ugly DQ in last - uggggh! Low odds don't entice me though.

Race Two
6-Quiet Kim: Nice pattern on T-G's. Hess 38% off the pair-up - P-Val helps.

Race Three
1-Lady Pegasus: Was MUCH the best in last, troubled trip.
2-Revealed: Not the handiest horse, giant filly -- I'm afraid of her though.

Race Four
3-Elusve Diva: P-Val loves her - he'd marry her if she was human.

Race Five
7-Zacs Verbatim: Mitchell claim is scary here, lone speed too.

Race Seven
5-Bonanza Two: Love his chances, always thought 7 furlongs would suit him, that last race was much better than it looks on paper.
I'm taking a stand against 8) Admirality Island - he runs like he's stepping on ants or something, he may not like the track if it's hard.

Race Eight
Wow, what a race!
12-Leave Me Alone: Really classy -- may bounce back today.
9-Trickle of Gold: Rider strangled her all the way round the track in last -- she's downright scary if she adapts to the heat.
1-Great Intentions: Any of you NYers know this filly? I'm not sure how good she really is -- why didn't Prado make the trip???
3-My Miss Storm Cat: she's fast, that's for sure, seems like a tough spot.

God Bless & Happy New year to all.

Anyone got any good plays today???? Please share your thoughts!
