I just re-read my post, I meant under 24 for his last quarter at Evangeline. Under 23 would be impossible! Do you have his expanded pedigree? I'd love to look into his female line and see what's doing there; not that it matters because it's obvious distance is no problem, but his sire, Langfuhr was mostly a 7 fur - 1 mile type and his offspring include Wando, Imperial Gesture, Imperialism, Jambalaya, Sister Star - I don't know much about those except for Imperialsim and he was no router.
