Jerry's SUPER FROLIC figured to have some kind of legitimate shot in Saturday's Donn Handicap. But one silly stat bothered me: Trainer Vladimir Cerin at GP - 3 - 0 - 0.

Now Cerin's 4 - 0 - 0.

Same thing with Steve Asmussen's DIXIE MEISTER in the Strub Handicap. The gelding figured to be somewhere in the mix but, curiously, Asmussen was 4 - 0 - 0 at Santa Anita.

Now he's 5 - 0 - 0.

By the way... nice rail-skimming ride in the Strub by Solis on Dan Hendricks' TOP THIS AND THAT for 2nd at 19-1. A great underkey/backwheel. Hendricks knocked off STEVIE WONDERBOY earlier in the meet. He's got the no-bounce gusto.
