Very solid. Couldn't get to a ground-saving and resolute Sir Greeley, but they went in :45.3, 1:08.4 and finished the 1m in 1:34.2.

He looked terrific in the paddock, trim and dappled throughout his hind. Think he demonstrated that he hasn't 'soured' on racing, and I know that Tagg was thrilled with the effort...

As an aside, put the 6yo Hough-trained Argentinian 'Contente', a fast-closing fourth that rocketed past Sun King after the wire, on your watch lists. He was slow into stride, odd with blinkers added, but has already run a pair of 1's and looks to me to be a tinkering away from a surprise in top company. I had keyed Sir Greeley over Cide, Sunny and Contente, and with a third at 17-1, Stan's steed would have juiced the already generous tri ($34) and super ($133).

Still in FL, and of course yesterday and today are beautiful after one of the ugliest ddays at a track I can can remember Saturday...

Steve
