AN AMAZING FILLY RUNS TODAY (938 Views)

In the 6th today at Santa Anita, there's a rather amazing filly running. Another TNT Stud Frankel turfer! Her US debut was simply dazzling. Solis (of course) took her back to last, lost contact wth the field, in a down the hill sprint, and into the stretch she was still last; then she pulled wide and put on one of the most amazing bursts of speed I've seen in a long time and galloped out tremendously. The field she meets today on the stretchout seems modest at best. Anything over even money would seem like stealing. Now, the only question again is how far will good old Alex take her back today??? What can I say? That's his style, relax them and let them explode. When you ride for Frankel that style works out more than not, I think it will here.

If you're intersted in Pick Fours, the featured San Luis Obispo (Race 8) has a three horse powerhouse entry (King's Drama, Aubonne, and the less heralded Atlando) which will be 3/5, so you can't spread much in the other races. Drysdale also has another runner in that race, Fantastic Spain, that he's recently taken over from Kristen Mulhull, and he seems like a horse reborn -- his last was an impressove performance, and he may offer entry busting value.

The Ninth has a Craig Lewis gelding who closed well against a giant speed bias in his debut (Commander Gary) and Lukas runs Kiss the Flame for Beverly Lewis and the late Bob Lewis' estate, that runner seems pretty live despite coming back on five days rest -- I think Lukas has him very well meant for obvious reasons. Good Luck to all!
