- So... running giant ThoroGraphs "too early" may have caught up to ACHILLES OF TROY and FIRST SAMURAI. Who's next?
- SWEETNORTHERNSAINT likely ran the best ThoroGraph number in the Gotham while finishing third. LIKE NOW [116] scraped paint on the rail. KEYED ENTRY [120] was 2-path all. And Desormeaux on SWEETNORTHERNSAINT [116] was 3-path all.
- If the assumption that SWEETNORTHERNSAINT paired his 1.75 in the Gotham is correct... does that mean that none of the San Felipe runners would have finished in the money of the Gotham had they run in New York? [Yes, if San Felipe winner A.P. WARRIOR merely ran to his best prior ThoroGraph, a 4.25. No if he surpassed it. A.P. WARRIOR was wide.]
- While the curious outcome of last year's Kentucky Derby may [or may not] have been influenced by security measures at Churchill Downs on Derby week, Keeneland's short meet makes it something of a safe haven for our favorite aggressive vets. BLUEGRASS CAT to the blue grass?
- The faucet has been off for trainer Nick Zito... at least until further notice.
- Saturday's 13th race at Tampa. Check the ThoroGraph sheet of trainer Bruce F Alexander showing very healthy and profitable ROI's in almost all trainer categories.
- I thought Asmussen's PRIVATE VOW would run much better than he did in the Rebel.
- Oh... that Mike Hushion!
