Tony,

Come up with a strategy that makes it affordable, and makes it a smart bet, keying around those two horses.

We have a 20 horse field and you want to key around the 1st and 2nd favorites (or possibly 1st and 3rd favorites).

If you are going to throw some bombs in, you will get your value. But keying the top two choices in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd slots, is not a recipe for a good value bet.

Too many things can go wrong in a 20 horse field. If history in this race has taught us anything, it is that you can't bet chalk in the Derby, especially now that we have the really big fields.
