Have't heard of any confusion, but the big question was what to make of the Kenneland race. Horses don't bounce as much as they did in 95, and TT had bounced only 2 points off two efforts, more acceptable than a big bounce off one effort. If you took into account that so many hate Keeneland, the pattern looked better.
Other things to consider were the early developing pedigree, and that he was just one of many around the 1 level-- meaning that he (like the winner) needed a new top. I took a small position on him at 50-1 about a week out, and used him in exotics, same as I did 5 others.
