i thought barbaro ran one of the best ky derby's i have ever seen, and i would gladly give back this 22g super to see a bernardini/barbaro rematch. just a tragedy.

as for bernardini, i do think we are looking at a freak here. he eats up so much ground with every stride, and if you examine the bottom of his pedigree, it's likely he has a larger heart than the average thoroughbred. and the speed on top of that!!!

godolphin might have something special in discreet cat, but other than that, i don't see anything out there that can run with bernardini.
