Why does Horse Racing "Need a Hero?" (796 Views)

I am so sick of hearing that. Everytime the mainstream media dorkmasters cover racing that quote and theme is constantly brought up. "This sport is in desperate need of a hero." Why the hell do they say that?

The jocks who lay it on the line and the horses who run their eyeballs out every day are enough for me. I see heroes every day at the track...
