Worthy post imallin. Theres some good thought contained within it.
I hate to say it again, but when Andy Beyer takes a position, you know its faulty. When he jumped upon the Barbaro Band Wagon it was over. He's a gifted writer, but a man can only have one true talent. Andy's talent is not handicapping. He has no concept of path and the ramifications of path other than lost ground, which he doenst consider anyway. His a 2 dimensional handicapper in a 4 dimensional game. I didn't misspeak there.
As far as Bellamy Road goes, that horse has a clear awkward action and he must run on the lead. His breeding is not stout enough to overcome those negatives and allow him to win at distances where the laurels of Greatness are earned.
