Edenwold - nice post, decent figs. backed up 2 pts when stretching from 7f to 9f, now comes back in three weeks to try 10f. Contender, but pass.

Atlas - looks a bit slow

Shill slew - has a decent ‘8’ going a route as a two yr old. Nice prep last. Only needs a few pts of development to be in the mix here. Contender at long odds.

Thinking out loud - has a decent route as a two yr old, but hasn’t been able to get back to that # this year. Pass.

Sterwins - obvious contender. Second fastest coming in. it’s unlikely the connections wanted to take this route, but with the fast # last and huge purse, they said what the heck. Use, but can’t key coming in on short rest.

Ascot bill - nice race last. Might get the 10f. Prob a bit slow to win, but could get a check.

Pyramid park - looks a bit slow.

Malakoff - has two recent routes on his resume, the last a very nice ‘5.5’ on rather short rest. Nice timing coming in here. Lemon drop kid has a great crop of three yr olds. Contender.

Wanna runner - serious horse. Conditioned to perfection by baffert. great timing coming in. fastest, and most likely winner. Low odds the issue here. Hate taking less than 2-1 on a three yr old trying 10f for the first time, especially in a big field.

Pipers thunder - lightly raced. Bred well to get the 10f. Tough post, but it’s a long run to the turn. Has improved stretching out in three straight races. Would like to see another week or two rest coming in, but odds will be long. Contender.

Hot deputy - looks a bit slow.

Cifercat - last was decent, but still looks a bit slow.

bridge cut - looks a bit slow.
………………..

It’s likely either baffert or pletcher will wind up in the winner’s circle, but I’ll get a bit crazy here as they all go 10f for the first time. I will key pipers thunder at big odds, and use Malakoff along with the two favs, maybe toss shill and bill in there underneath.

Good luck.
