Agree completely w/analysis for Tap Day.
Guess-timate 19% chance of winning.this field is has hidden gem possibilities.
Old Friedman theory (brown too?),attractive 4 yr old line is always a good omen for horse to come race back to # of previous year.
Unfortuneately I have a rememberance of decades to not being able to make money on a horse in a race of this nature.
Henning never makes money for me.
dutrow can jump up and bite my you know what
betting against wilco and losing is a chance I would take anytime
Andromeda has only run back to back once, and has never taken a vacation
Rathor is another that could mess w/the apple cart, how do you NOT play an anaimal when you don't know what his top is?
Ditto for Invasor(the next Barbaro?)Who comes back from Dubai and runs 4 points faster-7weeks later? This guy could really be a monster!
If Tap day wins, you can say the race was nothing special...but if Invasor wins, then we all will be using the Suburban as the springboard for what might be the top older distance horse of the year.
