"If I get days, I 'll just quit". Wow, who knew Christmas would come early this year? Please Jeff quit, cut off your nose to spite your face. I dont bet that garbage they call "racing" in California anyway, but I am sure there are many more that would be glad to see you go than would protest it.
These juice guys just don't get it. I'm so sick of hearing guys like Mullins complain about being "guilty until proven innocent". Jeff, buddy, your horse tested positive for three times the legal amount, and you are talking about being innocent. Someone please inform Mr. Pletcher, Dutrow, et al., that you cannot hide behind the "lab tests were wrong" excuse or the "the vet must have screwed up the dosage without me knowing" excuse everytime your horse tests positive. No one messes up that much.
It's bad enough to cheat the horsemen, fans, bettors, and entire industry out of millions each racing day, but when caught with your pants down, please do not give us the "poor me" victim crap. If it appears that people are out to get you, then there is probably a good reason for it. Here's a novel solution if you dont like it, STOP CHEATING!!! These clowns think the public is stupid, that we don't see what is going on, and the trainers think we will support them if they play the victim card. Nevermind the days he will get for juicing, someone should suspend Mullins just for being an obnoxious a--hole.
