Wandering Boy is a very dangerous horse when he gets things the way he likes them. His hole and the level of competition last at Saratoga played against him. Obviously the long run to the first turn at the Big Sandy obviates the stringing issue if he has the form to quick foot early. His main lead contestors are Funny Cide, Take the Bluff and Reverberate.
Funny Cide has the best position, light weight for him, and being in front is how he has scored recently so would not be surprised for him to take the race to the others from the outset. He's got the seasoning in tough events and could make it very difficult for the other pressers.
The horse I keep coming back to is Take the Bluff. That last effort was not all that bad even though hes run with lesser. A little improvement and he could fill out some of the exotics at a very nice price in my estimation. He certainly enjoyed his good track tour last time he ran Belmont. (He's a scratch)
If I were looking for an off pace animal, you have to take note of Good Reward.
