Mike D,

July 4th was that weird day for fig makers. The Belmont surface was painfully slow and changing speeds during the day.Mark Hopkins(beyer speed figs) said he was scratching his head all day.

Caution, view all figs for July 4th at Belmont with suspicion.TG and Beyer mostly agreed for the day. Rag figs were very different scale to scale(Rags slower). Brisnet and Equifrom were all over the place.

On TG, SC's negative -3 does not "fit" his history but I would not judge until he races back a couple of more times with a few others from the race.Beyer is in close agreement with TG on SC's fig.On a relevant note, I have tracked all runners from that day (7/4) running back and so far it seems inconclusive.

Check out the results for that card 7/4 and you will be confused to say the least.

Mike
