Tough outcome
I really wanted a chance to bet him again and thought he had potential as a stallion. He was so brittle throughout his career it sounds like it caught up with him. I suppose its better that he goes now than with my money and a jockey race riding him, but he was one I thought could really pay up the big races on the horizon.
Suppose Churchill will be wanting polytrack soon. When they do, I'm done there too and that includes the Derby.
I'm actually anxious for Polytrack to get in place and see how its proponets explain away the breakdowns that will inevitably occur upon it. They've been riding a statistical anomaly which won't last once its run on with regularity.
Precisionist had his day and his chances. Its harder to feel his loss, but he was certainly a good one. A very good one.
