Although long range forecasting has improved leaps and bounds, it is still virtually impossible for anyone to pinpoint what the weather will be at Churchill Downs on Satuday, November 4th. It would be similar to trying to calculate within a half point as to what number POMEROY will run in the Sprint.
His pattern may enable you to get close, however.
From what the long rangers at Accuweather are saying at this point, the eastern part of the nation looks milder and drier than normal for the first 10 days of November. The wet pattern we have been in may last a little while longer, then shift by the end of October.
I, for one, am rooting for a fast track and a firm turf. Let's play this game on equal grounds this time around.
Good Luck,
Joe B.
