Spa, I'm not saying the track wasn't a little loose or sandy. Heck, at this time of year it generally is. If you were looking for the Derby Day dragster treatment, I'll agree it wasn't there. That said, it played well to near pace horses, but near pace horses always have that edge. However, my objection is to the notion that the inside was golden, thats all.
I agree with you that Premium Tap got a little squirrely early. He got his feet under him though. I thought Invasor won easily with his ears pricked, but maybe Tap could have made a closer finish of it. Tap is a good horse and at the price was a must use in that race. If you scored the Classic exotics, how can you say the track was bad? That track was as fair as George Bush is crooked.
