Sure you can.

The idea of spacing the races a little further apart since ESPN can allocate more airtime to the event was brilliant. The handle jumped by 10.5%. Not all of this is attributable to the additional time, increased interest being the other, but a big chunk is.

The Derby did I believe around $190M, someone please check on that. So that is close to a third of a BILLION dollars on two days of racing.

Who said racing was dying........
