Looking for anyone who saw this and has an opinion.
First time in my turf speculating career that i have been taken down on a jockey objection (decision by Cali's 3 blind mice cost me a $3K plus score)
The incident occurred in deep stretch, there was no steward's inquiry, and BM appeared to be 1 to 1 1/4 lengths in front of the one horse ridden by Cohen (who lodged the objection.)
IMO, Cohen tried to go through a hole that was closing. Not even going to go into what I think of Aaron Gryder as a jock. Gryder continued to whip away at BM with the left hand as his mount was bearing out which not only cost him precious ground, but led to the whole DQ thing.
Good Luck,
Joe B.
