Richie,
What's the matter can't you handle the dark days of Fair Grounds? On occasion you'll get a nice race out of GP but for the most part it's the same garbage quality you get everywhere's else this time of year. Tampa not fulfilling your needs?
Santa Anita also has it fair share of garbage racing, but the weekends puts on a nice show this year so far. If you have HRTV you have a nice winter but bad bad racing 2/3 the rest of the year.
Whats happening to Oaklawn signal ? Is it shared between the two or di TVG lose that one too?
Lets face it racing is totally disjointed, clueless, has no vision for the future, and continue to live in the nostalgic past. Remember back in the day when the tracks were crowded and everyone was wearing a fedora hat carrying their tele?
Well the hats are gone, the tracks remain the same. In fact you might even find the same TV sets from the 70's and 80's at many of the tracks around the country. well at least we advanced from the $2 and $5 windows to where you can bet at any window. We should be thankful that technology has come that far.
Hey lets keep feeding these idiots the same crap year after year.
And we worry about what stronach might do to Saratoga.
Nothing to worry about, until they stop coming.
NC Tony
