From DRF
"Discreet Cat came out of his last-place finish in the the Dubai World Cup on Saturday with a throat infection that caused an obstructive mass in his throat and swelling of his throat wall, according to the Godolphin web site.

Godolphin's veterinary surgeons determined that this physically obstructed airflow into his lungs and caused him significant discomfort. The previously undefeated colt trailed throughout the World Cup, finishing last of seven, beaten 23 lengths by the victorious Invasor. Discreet Cat will now be rested before returning to the United States for the remainder of his 4-year-old campaign."

He would have still gotten his head handed to him by Invasor at 1 1/4 miles...Maybe at 1 mile to 1 1/8 he could beat him...Nah he couldn't beat him then either
