Marcus, Sightseeing was on his correct right lead from the top of the stretch until drawing within a length or so in very deep stretch.At that point he seemed to lose momentum and his stride got choppy like he could have switched to his left lead.A Bloodhorse article described it that Nobiz "found another gear" but with blinkers on I doubt Nobiz ever felt Sightseeing drawing close.It's difficult for me to pick up lead changes, that's why I was curious how everyone else saw it.
I don't think there's any doubt the performance of the day came from King of the Roxy. 3-4 wide both turns,finished gamely.
Barry, Did your 2nd place purse pay for this nice looking Ohio Bred?Just curious. Who says you can't buy a multiple G2 winning,G1 placed racehorse at the Keeneland sales for 8 grand??
