...just to recap... (692 Views)

That was a heck of a day on the TG Board...

It started out with Chuckles breaking into song and creating a Derby line which
had Chucklesberg (who needs help to make it into the final 20) at 12/1 and the
Rug Warrior at 125/1...

In the middle of the day, an outside agitator (remember Norman Fell's great
role as the landlord of the boarding house in "The Graduate"?) tried to
instigate another battle in the insipid, inane, and unnecessary East Village
v. West Village Performance Figure War...

By the end of the Day, MO, NCT, Flighted Iron and Chuckles seemed to be engaged
in a round of side wagers and prop bets that made me long for the long lost
days of my Pinnacle Account...

Kudos to the following for comitting strongly to their selections: MO has
annointed himself the President of the Calvin Borel fan club and will sink or
swim with Street Sense; Flighted Iron already has his Derby Quay.

No commitment yet in this corner. SS is arguably fastest and most logical. CQ
and AGS are logical Pletchers who will probably be between 8/1 and 15/1. Nobiz
and Great Hunter were highly regarded earlier in the year and are now not
drawing much attention, could be some value there. Dominican is either the
prime example of a "now" horse or merely King of the Carpet.

As W Cronkite used to say "...and thats the way it was, April 29, 2007..."
