I'm going home to Montana this weekend and will have the opportunity to bet on the multi-species race cards at the Western Montana Fair -- where the clods meet the Clydes.

Since mule racing is an integral part of any fair card, does anybody know what #s Black Ruby has been running? Jerry, how does she compare to the great mule (or was he a donkey) of old -- Eor? Many say that Black Ruby's numbers are faster but for my money nobody could have beat Eor at his best.

Too bad you don't have a spotter at WMF. With 6 horse (and mule and ostrich and hyena) fields and pools that can climb into the thousands of dollars I'm just drooling over the possibilities for a huge coup.
