The race comes down to this. Street Spent beat the same horses by 10 last fall and beat the same horses by over 8 last Sat. Except for one horse who was a new shooter.

The new shooter got the next to last quarter in 26, a breather, and turned for home with a 3 length lead. The rider cut him loose and he widen on the rest of them by another 2 and 3/4, beating them a total of 5 and 3/4.

Street Spent went by him like he was stopping not drawing off.

There is no four month rest like last fall. We will find out what he is made of in two weeks.

This isn't a question of ability it is a question of resiliency.
