Totally agree on Pletchers dismal showing so far, but would say that neither J Ray or Wingspan were good examples of his frustration. Both were bet hard and had little chance once the entries were drawn. The former gave away big poundage and the latter was never going to beat the speed, let alone the scratched Frankel.

He (Pletcher) figures to run a bunch the last third of the meet, and many with conditions and a race over the surface. If he doesn't win his share, the predators will start circling. BBB
