I know there's been some griping on the board about the New York breds at the SPA and people feeling they are unworthy. I am a New Yorker, so I'm very glad that at least there is a huge push for the sport in our state. I did read somewhere that one of the Princes (Or maybe THE Prince) just bought property right near the SPA. Who knows, maybe it's wishful thinking, but perhaps we will get some finer NY pedigree out of all this, since he's been snapping up all the good breeders. It seems what we really need is to get bigger payouts too. I saw a comarison of payouts by track and was amazed by the differences in different states.
